Training Courses
Absolute Image offers detailed and practical training with supporting theory designed to meet the needs of the individual rather than a mass market approach.
The strong practical content of Absolute Image training is entirely appropriate for such a hands-on profession as Image Consultancy. Trainees get the opportunity to practise on themselves and on ‘unseen’ models brought in from outside – a situation which is a much closer experience to real client consultations.
We use up to date methods and products and provide full ongoing support once the training is complete. Class sizes are up to 4 people as this enables enough interaction between trainees, whilst still allowing individual attention.
Absolute Image is not a franchise company so there is no contractural obligation to us after training. This gives you the flexibility to develop your business as you wish without the requirement to buy materials from us. However most of our consultants use our colour and style portfolios. We also recommend cosmetic lines and accessories.
In addition to classroom sessions the home practice period gives trainees plenty of opportunity to practise independently, then come back to share experiences, ask questions and debate the various challenges they faced with fellow trainees. Each module includes a practical assessment with at least two models in a supervised environment.
Our foundation training is offered as either a 10 day intensive training course which is run over two weeks with a two to four week break between where trainees complete the home practice programme or as a modular option. The modular option comprehensively covers the content of the 10 day intensive training course but may be booked and paid for as separate modules without any time restriction.
One-to-one and bespoke training can be arranged for people who prefer to learn on their own, or require a shorter time-scale.
Open Mornings
We run regular open mornings throughout the year. They are a great opportunity to view our studio and equipment and find out more about becoming an Image Consultant in a relaxed environment.
